Our client, an LA based hair care company seeks a Senior Web Designer to join the team. This Senior Web Designer can be at the mid level to senior range.
Below is a list of qualifications :
• Extensive knowledge in design principles (including color, typography, and composition here too), a passion for great design and web standards, and a detailed understanding of how interactive experiences should function.
• Bachelors degree in graphic design or equivalent experience in a related field
• Create designs incorporating proven track record of possessing exceptional typographic sensibility, knowledge of SEO, social media, and content strategy on user experience & design
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in web design
• Must have strong online portfolio
• Well-versed in fundamental visual design disciplines and principles
• Pixel perfectionist with an expert eye for consistency and detail
• Experience hand-coding HTML and CSS
• Familiarity with Web 2.0 best practices and social media trends
• Highly proficient with CS6 Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Dreamweaver
• Bonus if you have knowledge of Responsive and parlex design, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Project management skills are critical including adaptability, time management, meeting objectives and deadlines
• Willing to do what it takes to get the job done with the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Perform production work as needed
• Time management skills are critical including adaptability and meeting objectives
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to acquire information and produce desired results from co-workers
• Must be flexible and resilient with the ability to take direction from multiple teams within the organization
• Ability to interact with Senior Management, Marketing, Creative, and other internal teams
